About Alex

1993, the year of Schindler's List, Philadelphia, Jurrasic Park, and Mrs. Doubtfire. Also the year Alex McCord was born into this world. Alex swears he remembers being in the womb and hearing Star Wars play. In 2001 when he first saw Lord of the Rings on the big screen, Alex knew he wanted to be involved in the world of movies. Watching movies wasn't enough, and now he is committed to making his own.

 

Alex started writing when he was 15 but lacked confidence in the art. He went to Full Sail University to persue his BFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment to hone in his skills. Alex has written two screenplays and is currently working in copywriting. He is starting his next screenplay and pitch right now as of 2018. Alex also writes movies news for mxdwn movies. 

 

As well as pursuing screenwriting, copywriting, Alex is working on blogging. Alex writes reviews and analysis for video games and movies.
